Yes I am having a fantastic time I don’t think there are any differences but it seems a lot cleaner then the usual lol and miss Burdett is having a fab time to and how are u urself !!!!-nick

xxxxx Hey dad missing you we haven’t seen an alive arctic fox but we have seen a dead one haha. I have been doing experiments on plankton and plants not very intresting as they seem!!!!. The air being so clean has surprised me its soo fresh and you would love it out here its amazing I want to move up here its beautiful. We have seen two pieces of glacier fall one was huge about the size of a house and the other was about half the size. We were on the beach and had to run from the waves and the bvoat was still in the water and it nearly tipped over !!!!. see you soon love you loads lv ya xxxxxxxx

hey Ms Slocombe Ms Burdett fell over on a glacier and her camera hit her in the eye blood went every where and now she has a wicked black eye lol. Weve seen so many amazing things have many pictures to show you, have you done the assembly yet ? how are you?x
we didnt do an assembley we were all to busy

It all sounds fantastic. What has the journey been like? how deep is the sea there? what colour is it? What can you see in the waters around the icebergs? are there many birds and if so what kind? how much daylight are you getting at the moment?

Ive had to change my science project as there is no previous data for this specific area at this spercific time they always do it in the spring, so i am now analysing samples and comparing them to the scientific pictures of them to see how climate change has affected them-mr drayton
heyley how is your trip, have you had chance to toch polar bears cause I want to ask are they soft?
unfortunately we havent gotten hold of any cameras to take pictures, but hopefully a film crew will be coming next week to film whats been going on at our school.
Tommorrow i might bring in my digital camera to take pictures of the lessons where we have been accessing the site

We are getting lots of day light as the sun doesnt go down properly. We have done night watches on the ship so we have seen it for real. The sea it very blue today beacuse the sun is shining but when its horrible and cloudy its grey. The sea is over two hundred metres deep in places the ships meaurements dont go any further then that. We have seen purple sand pipers, arctic turns, arctic gulls, guillemots and puffins- Ms Jaffe

dad- We have seen arctic fox but a dead one. It was a skeleton but with paws and tail and it make me realise that death is all around us and how fragile life can be. I probably wont get to reply again sonsee you soon and lv ya ldz xxxxx

Today we have been doing a climate experiment measuring lots of data from six int he mornint til ten at night. We also made a huge sculpture made out of ice on the beach near the glacier and the next day we went to an island called Blomstrand to a place called LONDON and did a movemnt piece inspired by words we though of on the glacier x

No its not scary at all its just amazing we are having the best time and dont want to come home x Me and Ms burdett are planning to move to Longyearbyen x

oh wow the temperature is like 4 degress but it was 2 at six and minus 2 a couple of days ago x But the scientist say it should have snowed by now and it should be snowing so we are experiencing climate change for real x
So would you move there to do more art or more science?
