Good Luck from 10 JRC
Hi Shona!
The view must be absolutely amazing now! I’ve been on the computer putting together a presentation for my Bio class about oceanographic research. I was able to find so many pictures on line of all the stuff I used to do and instruments we used to use when I worked at fisheries. Boy do I miss it. I’ve been looking at some of my old pictures when I was in the Gulf for a few weeks. What great memories…I can’t wait to see your pictures and hear all about your trip - I’m still very jealous! Have fun!
Ms. Turriff
Hey Jethro
We see that you have left Longyearbyen and we are following the activities of yourself and the crew with interest.
Best wishes to you all.
hey all! i am loving watching your video clips and reading your comments on the web. thinking of you all and hoping you’re not getting too cold. basecamp is very quiet without you around, but hannah and i are enjoying the breakfast stuff you left and especially liam’s mum’s amazing carrot cake! go explorers! vickyx

Hi Jess, am I allowed to just say hi? Arthur misses you, says it looks cold where you are. What an exiting adventure you are on. Love you, el x
Hello to all Noorderlicht sailors!
What a great adventure you are living! Amelie, it looks like you will be bringing home some wonderful memories! So nice to hear you are warm enough! We are following your voyage in the school library! Best wishes to all on board!

Hi Jethro from your 2 cousins!
The trip looks amazing. We loved the story of the ice falling from the glasier and are glad you managed to dodge the polar bear!
I have 1 question, what are you eating while you are away?
Toby wants to know if you have seen a whale?
Take care and love from the Cuthbert family.
Big warm hugs to you Jess and Hayley!
We are all missing you and are wishing you a great adventure. In tomorrow’s Art lesson on Climate Change, we shall look at Gormley’s work in more detail and be catching up on your voyage from this website. Many of the Art students are wondering how you are both coping in the cold and whether it is having any affect on you physically and mentally. We are all thinking of you and look forward to your return.
Ms.Pinto, Art students and Art dept at Kidbrooke School
Hi Nonie,
Hope all is well and you do not have frost bite ! Thought I would let you know i have been doing a similar project to yours — trying to decide whether the Ice in my Gin and Tonic was melting from the top or the bottom — but after my 3rd attempt - i decided I really didnt care any more !
Take care — lots of Love , Andrew , Tiggy , Grace and Arnie
Hi to all on the Noorderlicht very envious to the extent i will have to get my watercolours out and start some proper painting, having been on high altitude tundra i can relate to your experiences, it will model the way you see and behave in the future, and only other people who have experinced such a thing will be able to relate to it. Have a wonder full trip, be prolific in outputting drawings, film, scribbles and any media you feel comfortable, Best Wishes, Eugene Sellors Lead Designer Eden Project Cornwall
Hi JJ, just watching at home is exciting, but to be actually there it must be mind blowing, You enjoy it Jethro you certainly earn it.
Hi Everyone,
Lynn Butler-Kisber and I have been following you on the website. We envy your amazing experience. We just heard Amèlie talk about seeing two polar bears.
Rebecca, I am about to send out a reminder to LEARN to remind all schools in Quebec to go to this amazing website. It looks like you are managing very well.
Best regards from Lynn Butler-Kisber and Sylvia Sklar at the Centre for Educational Leadership at McGill.

Hallo Ina,
Daddy

You’ve been badly missed in registration and in tutor period
We are all really looking forward to seeing you again.
I hope that you and Mr Brindle are having a great time and look forward to seeing the photos and hearing all the details from you when you get back. Frome won’t seem quite the same I suspect
Seeing the polar bear sounds fantastic, although I was relieved to hear that you were back on the boat when you saw it. When you were talking of having to have training with guns, just in case, just before you went it sounded just a little scary! I wasn’t sure that you weren’t pulling my leg. What other wildlife have you spotted?
How many hours of daylight do you have there? What are the starts like? I assume that there is absolutely no light pollution there.
Oh, and just in case you were concerned about missing any work in ICT, don’t worry because I’ve saved it all up for you!!!
Very best wishes to both you and Mr Brindle.
Mrs Love

Hi Liam I love looking through everybodies reports which are so inspirational and passionate. I am sure you are all well on your way to spread the news about caring for our planet.
Looking forward to listening to your video report tomorrow. Jennie will be able to see it live tomorrow at school.
I have just finished the regatta 93 boats took part. It was a blustery day 7-8 knots, the ladies team came about 43 place, best ladies team, lots of drama took place. Riddlesdown school raised £2000 for charity.
How is your science experiment coming along?
I know you have been creating lots of exciting art work.
Enjoy the next few days
Love Mum
Hi Nonie, glad all is going well. Really interested to hear about the art project ‘of course’. We are doing some ice work here with the Shells and 4ths adding text to water and then freezing it.
